Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement screen frame with screen for Ventline Ventadome trailer roof vents. This unit replaces a broken screen frame and screen on your Ventline Ventadome RV roof vent for motor homes and enclosed trailers. It's going to be held securely in place by the frame itself and the screen is known to keep out debris and insects when the vent is open. It's a really nice design. Again, this is going to replace the screen frame and the actual screen. It works with Ventline Ventadome roof vent models V2092, V2110, V2094 and V2119. It's polar white in color.
It's made in the U.S.A. I'm going to go ahead and show you how to replace the screen frame and screen. It's a very easy process. I do have an actual vent right here. What we need to do is just gain access to the hand knob. Again, it's going to be pretty simple.
My application simply just calls for a Phillip's head screwdriver. Place that in there and I need to remove that screw that holds that handle in place or that hand knob in place, so loosen that up all the way. We'll just take that screw and set it aside. Then what you want to do is you just want to pull up on that handle. You can wiggle it loose. It's going to pop right off of there.
It's got a nice groove design because those grooves engage and that allows opening and closing of the vent. You just need to work that off of there and then you can push in on these tabs. That's going to take the old screen out of the vent. Then to place on your new one, just repeat those steps. Make sure these tabs engage in the proper location. That post right there should line up perfectly so that we can place our handle back on.
Push it down into place and then take the screw, drop it in and tighten it down. I also want to point out that the screen itself, so you're going to have the framing and then you're going to have the screen, that screen is removable. That just pops out of there. What that does is it simply allows you to remove it from the entire screen frame and vent in case you need to wash it or clean it off. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement screen frame with screen for Ventline Ventadome trailer roof vents.
I have only gotten the package opened and briefly inspected the products. I have not had a chance yet to attempt to install the items. I can not make a valid judgement at this time.
I bought a 2009 class A with Ventline vents with these screens. Two of the screens were warped and would not seal the opening. Also, the clips that hold the screen break off easily. A good idea for easy cleaning but frrequent use seems to wear them out. I think screens with screws would be much better.Fortunatly I found etrailer.com to get replacement screens. I have ordered Camco vent covers with removable vent grills so I can clean the screens from outside.
Everything was delivered except for the other dome seal. I called right away and it will be here in 2 days. Great service and very understanding. After 2 years of dealing with Etrailer I have not had any problems. I try to keep my unit original. We will be building a house soon and I will be selling it.

Another perfect fit replacement with easy installation at a fair price. I expect the plastic tabs securing the screen will all break again eventually but the OEM lasted years so guess just consider it maintainence.
The screen and frame are the exact same as the original. Installaion took less than five minutes. I'm hoping this new one does not turn yellow after 4 years.Like the original did.

Perfect fit, hope they last longer. The originals were two yrs old and screen tabs broke off and frame cracked when I removed it.
