What Holds Inner and Outer Landing Gear Tubes Together on Lippert Landing Gear Follow Leg

The inner tube came out of the outer one. The gears and everything else looks great what holds that inner tube in to the outer one.

Thank you for the photo of your 5th wheel landing gear leg.
My technical contact at Lippert Components confirmed that on their landing gear legs such as this follow leg # LC179014 the outer tube has two pinch points that are intended to prevent excessive extension of the inner tube. These pinch points are also intended to prevent the inner tube from completely leaving the outer tube. My contact indicated that for safety reasons it is not recommended to try to repair this jack leg; it should be replaced.
If your damaged leg is a Lippert follow leg use the replacement part you referenced. If it is the lead leg then instead use part # LC179013. I have linked for you our main page for all landing gear replacement parts. Click on the filters on the page to select the item and brand you need.

Outer legs on 5th wheel landing gear not even. probably 2" difference. Will this cause problems? How repair this.
