Sounds like you are looking for a way to keep the handle of the Dutton Lainson jack part # DL22580 horizontal when the jack is in the horizontal, stored position. Most likely you want to this so the handle doesn't drag.
This isn't a super common situation so there isn't a specific solution for this but what you can do is use a strap like the part # EM06701 to basically strap the handle to the main body of the jack so that it wouldn't turn down.
