2-Bike Add-On Expansion Kit for Thule TH83GC 2-Bike Hitch Rack

Hello. I own a thule 916XTR rack. I need to add an extension to carry two more bikes. I know that the 918XTR is made specifically to work with the 916XTR as an add on, the problem is that they don´t make it any more. Do you know if the newer Thule 9046 T2 will work as well? They look alike, but I´m concerned about the bolts location. I will appreciate your advice. Best regards.

My contact at Thule confirmed that you can indeed use the 2 Bike Add-On for Thule T2Pro X # TH55GC along with your 2-bike base rack model # TH83GC. They are fully compatible.
