It is possible to install a T2 original 917XT locking arm part#: 7521272001 on the T2 classic for those people that want one. It is an upgrade for your T2 Classic.

Yes, I verified with Thule that the Locking Ratchet Arm # 752-1272-001 can be used with the Thule T2 Classic # TH9045.

The Thule T2 is the older style and the T2 Classic #TH9044-TH9046 and T2 Pro XTR #TH83JV are the newer style. The newer T2 Classic and the pro xtr can accept tires up to 5 inches wide but it does require changing the strap location. I've attached…
