Will Brophy HSSF or TDSF camper Tie Downs Damage the Bed on a 2014 Ram 1500

I drive a 2014 Ram 1500sprayed in bed liner and was curious if the HSSF Tie Downs will damage my trucks bed. I heard the traditional pocket stakesTDSF had the potential to flex the bed in areas and this new product looks similar. Will the new design of the HSSF prevent bed damage? Thanks.

I have not heard of anyone complaining about the stake pocket tie downs # TDSF damaging the truck bed. The same for # HSSF. I find the stake pocket option to be a less invasive installation as well. The process of installing the tie downs would not flex the metal of the bed.
But if someone where to then use associated hardware # TDHP and over tighten it then I could see how someone could bend the metal of the bed where the tie downs are installed.
The best truck bed camper tie downs are going to be ones that attach to the truck frame when the truck is the strongest. I have linked the custom fit tie down main page for you. Just select the configuration of your truck to see the available options.
