The item you selected, Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, part # 13342, is the hitch I would recommend for your 2006 Mercedes Benz ML350. This is a Class III Hitch, with a 2 inch receiver that is compatible with most accessories such as cargo carriers or bike racks. This is the highest rated hitch available for your 2006 Mercedes-Benz ML350 for towing.
In addition to part # 13342, you may need the following to complete your towing setup:
Ball Mount part # C45010,
Pin and Clip part # PC3,
Hitch Ball part # 19260, or part # 19247 (The hitch ball size will depend on the trailer coupler size.)
Currently there is not a wiring kit available for your Mercedes-Benz ML350, you will need to acquire a wiring kit from the Mercedes-Benz Dealership and have them install it.
