Question:
Your part # HM47365 will this work on a wiring harness/trailer hitch plug for a 2011 ML 350? My trailer has the older style flat 3-4 pin plug and the Mercedes has the round plug. Need a conversion plug. thanks!

Yes, the adapter part # HM47365 would work well for you based on your description of what you have. It sounds like you have a 7-way connector at the back of your 2011 Mercedes ML350 and a 4-way connector on your trailer. This adapter would convert the 7-way to a 4-way and would work well for you.
The 4-way connector is still a very widely used connector for trailer wiring. It most often used on trailers without brakes, whereas the 7-way is used on trailers with brakes.
If your trailer has LED taillights you would also need the # TR20141. This would plug into the 7-way and allow a trailer with a 4-way and LED taillights to connect to it.
