Purchased this for my 2009 Mercedes ML350, fits perfectly without any modifications. Make sure you leave the original bolts and screws that are coming from the frame, you will re-use those. This is my 4th hitch receiver I buy from this store and always successful with the installation.

It was a straightforward install (you do have to drill holes in the bottom of your tire well, but it is easy) and it has ben great since. I tow a small motorcycle trailer with 3 motorcycles and it works beautifully for that.

The first controller we received was installed and did not work
correctly. We did have a lot more labor in this job which hurts when you get a new part and assume it is good. We were shipped a replacement part rather quickly and when installed all did work good.
