Is it Recommended to Use a Lubrication Plate with B and W Fifth Wheel Hitches

Question:

Does BandW recommend a lube plate with their hitches? I can find no information on this.

For all fifth wheel trailer hitches, lubrication is important to keep working parts in order and allow your fifth wheel hitch to turn properly. B and W recommends lubricating the top surface of your fifth wheel hitch coupler with automotive type chassis grease or use a nylon lube plate to provide a lubricated surface.

I recommend the Curt 10" Fith Wheel Trailer Hitch Lube Plate # 16721. This lube plate will fit with your B and W Fifth Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3270 and will protect your fifth wheel hitch as you tow.
