looking for spare tire holder but my cargo trailer has a 6inch tall frame. What are my options?

Since we don't have any frame mount spare tire carriers that can mount to a 6 inch tall trailer frame, we will need to consider other possible mounting options for a spare tire carrier.

If your cargo trailer is enclosed, you an use a mount like the Rackem Spare Tire Rack for Enclosed Trailers # RA-16. A similar option is the use a section of Vertical E-Track # E19146 with the Rackem Spare Tire Carrier for E-Track # RA-16HST. Either of these options will mount to the wall of the enclosed trailer. It is important for the mounting surface to be suitable to handle the weight of the system and spare tire. For the E-track system, a minimum of 2 fasteners per foot per side are needed.

If your cargo trailer has a trailer hitch, you could use a hitch-mounted spare tire carrier, like the Curt Trailer Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # C31006. This carrier fits a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver.

If your trailer has a 4 inch square bumper, you could use the Stromberg Carlson Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier # TR-1. This carrier fits most 5, 6, and 8 lug wheels.
