Question:

I would like to order kit apt8 but have a few questions. I plan to weld the spring hangers to the frame, are these hangers ok to weld? Also, the kit info says the center hangers are 4 1/2inch tall but when I check that against the hanger # e4139 , that info says hanger is 4 1/4inch tall. Some pictures of hangers have holes drilled in the base , some dont. I would prefer no holes in hanger to attach to frame as Im welding. Lastly, I have pr4b 1 3/4inch x 25 1/4inch springs and need new bushings. You have nylon bushings with 11/16inch and 3/4inch outside diameters, which bushings should I order? Thanks.

The spring hangers included in Redline kit # APT8 are intended for weld-on installation. Hanger part # E4139 that is included in the kit does have two holes that are for attachment of your springs. This part of the hanger will not be welded.

I pulled one of these from our warehouse to measure its height and found the actual height to be 4-3/4-inches measured tip to tip; width is 3-inches. From the center of the 9/16-inch hole to the top edge of the hanger measures the specified 4-1/4-inches. Please refer to the linked image.

This kit does not include hardware to mount your axle; for that use part # APUBR-1 for each axle.

Leaf spring PR4B uses nylon bushing # TRBU11566.
