Yes, the Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist w/ Cable # GL1 can be installed on a utility trailer frame that is constructed with round-tubing.
However, there is an alternate installation if round-tubes are larger than 2 inches in diameter. Gorilla-Lift advises that you might need longer carriage bolts before installation on a round-tube that is larger than 2inches. They also suggest that the Gorilla-Lift can be spot-welded on to the side of the trailer rails instead of drilling holes and using the carriage bolts.
