How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the InfiniteRule coupler latch lock today on our trailer. Just to get a closer look, having a additional security device like this for your camper, trailer, anything with a coupler is gonna allow it so this latch doesn't open, so no one can hook up to your ball on the coupler. This is a great way to keep your load secured to the back of your truck or keep your trailer secured when you're out and about. So let's take a closer look at our lock. The shear strength for this stainless coupler is 4,200 pounds, so that's pretty impressive as far as the amount of pressure it can go under, and you also have O-rings on the inside for your internal components to help protect them against corrosion. Besides being stainless, when stainless being corrosion resistant, this is gonna be a real nice way to keep everything serviced and usable.
I always suggest spraying a little lubricant inside or locks that are outside in the elements just to keep 'em protected, and you have this nice rain cap as well to keep moisture out of the locking mechanism. Alright, grab this ball mount here and you can see there's no way that you can get this latch up, they'll get a ball on here to run off with this trailer. In general with locks, you know it's only a matter of slowing down someone that's determined to do a bad thing because if someone wants to steal your trailer, sadly there's nothing you can do, you can only slow 'em down. And the metal itself is gonna take quite a while to actually cut through. And for real, what I think would fail would actually be the latch itself before the lock.
So either way, they wouldn't be able to safely get away with your trailer. So it's just a theft deterrent in general with most locks. Overall, it's a real solid piece of metal. I like when I feel locks and they have a little bit of heft and weight to 'em. InfiniteRule makes a lot of different pin locks for trailers.

Finding a lock for a Bulldog Hitch is no easy task but this item definitely solves that problem and provides a secure manor of protecting my investment. In addition it is stainless steel which will definitely extend the life of the lock. This stainless-steel lock is high quality and seems like it will last for a very long time. The rubber cover seems very durable, and the lock also has an interior ring in the cylinder for added protection.
