What Size Air Line is the Roadmaster Quick Disconnect Kit Designed to Work With

Im looking at Roadmaster Quick Disconnect Kit for Brakemaster. I have two questions. 1. I assume but I will ask. This is for 1/4inch OD plastic air line? 2. In the picture, I dont see the brass ferrules that go inside the nuts and tighten over the s. Are they included?

The air line size that the part # RM-921004-80 is designed to be used with is 1/4 inch like part # RM450700.
The inserts do come with this kit and you can see them in the main product picture. I also attached a picture that shows how the line attaches to the fittings using the inserts.
