So it's never a bad idea to pick up a replacement small plug, and a large plug for your tow vehicle and your towed vehicle. This is what's going to ensure the longevity and smooth running of your SMI system. This is going to go over the end of your female and male end, so that you don't have to worry about getting any dirt or debris inside your air hose fitting when you're not using it. We'll put one on our vehicle end too, just to keep the dirt and debris out of that also.My personal opinion, if I had a system just like this, I would want to make sure all of my plugs are all plugged up before I go anywhere after my trip. So that means when I unhook my air hose that stretch from my towed vehicle to my tow vehicle, I'm going to pick up a couple of these extra plugs and put them over top of the fittings on my hose too, just to make sure everything in that hose stays nice and clean.Well guys, with all that being said, that's going to do it for our review and replacement of our large and small rubber caps.
I think this is way too much to charge for these simple dust covers. Should be at least 6 pieces for this price.

I bought some spare large and small air fitting covers used on our SMI Air Force One supplemental braking system. These small plastic covers can split after some use--as have the ones in use on my system. Not much more to say. They keep the dirt out of the lines. I always like to have a few spares.
Etrailer always gives good service. I usually look to them first for RV related parts.
I’ve still got the original caps. They are in very good condition after 8 years. It’s a good to have extras.
I purchased these as a back up to the factory provided caps.

Hard to find caps over the ports on the vehicle, related to the Air Force One supplemental braking system. Caps fit properly and are still in use 1 year later. These ports can be stolen by insects, specifically wasps, looking for a hiding place when RV is in storage, so the caps are necessary to keep out pests and dirt that may foul the air line. Keeping them covered is the best choice on both the motorhome and the tow vehicle.
I purchased spare Vinyl Caps for my Demco SBS Air Force one Breaking system for good measure. The caps can get lost and the idea of dirt and water getting into your connection points when your not connect isn't a good thing. I placed the order with etrailer and before I finished the process, etrailer had my parts sent to me. both the caps I ordered and etrailer are awesome. I would highly recommend buying from etrailer for your RVing needs.
i=I ordered two of these however they will only fit on the male end of the quick connector its way too small to fit over the female quick connector if you have the larger one for the motorhome that came with the kit please let me know ,thanks

There is another cap that Demco offers. It is part # SM99609 which replaces the large vinyl cap that slides over the Quick-Disconnect air valve on the Air Force One supplemental braking system.

This hitch is amazing!!! Be prepared though it is very heavy! I love how easy it is to adjust to different heights and ball sizes with the 2 common sizes provided. The scale on the back can be helpful to let you know if you have the proper trailer weight. The more you use it the more you will like it!
I purchased these extra air fitting caps for my Air Force One supplemental braking system because only one of each came with the system, they are essential for keeping the air lines clean, and it woud be easy to lose or misplace them. I received exactly what I ordered, and the price and delivery time were good.
