Recommended Roof Rack for a 2012 BMW X3 Without Roof Rails

Question My X3 has no roof rails just small ridges thwart run from the front to rear along the roof Is your product compatible with an X3 with no rail system installed at the factory? Can you provide instructions to install? How difficult would it be to install Rhinos on my X3?

For your 2012 BMW X3 with a naked roof, I recommend the Vortex Aero aluminum crossbars # RRVA126B-2. The vortex strips in the C-channels will reduce wind noise and the weight capacity is 165 pounds. I would take a look at your owners manual on your X3 to view the roof weight capacity before you load anything onto your roof.
The legs you will need are the 2500 series legs # RRRLKVA and custom DK clamps and pads are # DK295. Take a look at the video review I included. It will provide you step by step instructions to install the crossbars, legs and clamps.
For added security, I recommend the Rhino-Rack locking end caps for Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA-LEC4. This replaces the end caps and lock in place to prevent thieves from sliding any accessories out of the C-channels.
