Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this Thule replacement cover strip with this pattern. Now, this 59 inch long pattern strip replaces the rubber cover strip for the top of your Thule AeroBlade Edge crossbars. On your screen, I am including all of the model numbers of the AeroBlade Edge crossbars that this is going to fit and these model numbers can also be found on this product page. And this is going to be a very simple install.
You're just going to press this patterned cover strip into the top T-channel and then trim to fit. And this is going to include one 59 inch long strip. And because this is from Thule, you can have the confidence that this is going to work with your AeroBlade Edge crossbars. This is going to be just like the cover strip that you either lost or damaged so it's going to work just like your original. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today.

I was a little leery of this part, because the picture wasn't as clear, but what I could gather was thus LOOKED like the right one. I bought it with the knowledge I xould return if necessary. Nope, not necessary. Fit perfectly, easy to install, I even had a bit of extra of needed somewhere somehow down rhe road. Perfect!

fit perfectly on my aeroblade bars and they are NOT the edge! so glad that it fits all aeroblade bars and that etrailer has this part for an older thule product!
OEM Thule part and a good price at etrailer. These good quality strips fit the older, discontinued Aeroblade crossbars (won't fit the current split-strip style Wingbars). They do expand and contract a bit between summer and winter so I cut them ~1" shorter when I installed in the winter at <40F. I also remove, clean and treat them every 4-6 months with a rubber UV coating like 303 Protectant or CarPro Perl. This extends the life and keeps the rubber from becoming brittle.

No issues after 1 year of sun exposure except for ~3.5 months this winter. Split strips would certainly be more convenient, but unfortunately my RhinoRack Nautic kayak saddles arent compatible with Thule Wingbars. Purchased extra strips to get me through the life of these bars. Be sure to treat with UV-protectant!
It was a good fit overall. The only downside is the treads on the replacement were a bit shorter than on the original Audi roof crossbars. It seems to be working great though and is not very noticeable

The item was great, order tracking info from etrailer was terrible. I got a notification when it shipped and then 5 days later it showed up, nothing in between and no way to track where it was or when it was expected to arrive.
Fit in well and easily with the Thule aeroblade crossbars.

Fits perfectly in my Rhino Rack Aero Vortex cross bars. I now have a single strip to span the full cross bar instead of the individual 15" (400mm) sections.
I have a Volvo XC60 SUV and found that the factory load bars are made by Thule. I needed a piece of the cover strip, which greatly reduces wind noise, and found that eTrailer had the exact strip needed and at a much lower price than Volvo. I ordered the cover strip and was very pleasantly surprised that I received it in three days, even using the regular shipping option. As you may imagine, I'm extremely pleased with the cost and arrival speed, especially as it's the exact part, not a knock-off. The photo shows the cover strip in the load bars. Without the strip, there's a very annoying whistling sound as moving air hits the open center of the load bar.
