Do You Have the Metal Plate that Holds Down Tire on Spare Tire Carrier?

Question:

There is a small piece of steel I think that is used to help hold the spare tire onto the bracket. While traveling, we had a tire failure, mounted the spare and managed to lose the metal piece. It is 5.5 inches long, 1.5 inches wide and thick enough not to bend when cranked down on. The hole is in the middle and is lug nut size. Can I buy a replacement from you? Thanks!

I am sorry to hear you had a tire failure, always a scary feeling on the road. Glad you are safe and able to write into us though!

I want to make sure I have the part right before trying to get one added to our site. Can you please look at the picture I attached for the Ultra-Fab Folding Spare Tire Mount for Trailers and RVs - Bumper Mount # UF15-954730, is the piece you are missing the one the arrow is pointing to?

There are a couple of different styles, so I want to make sure I am adding the right piece. After you confirm, I will need to reach out to the manufacturer to get a part number and then add it, usually takes a couple of business days. I can see this part getting lost quite a bit, I am surprised it is not on our site already.

@Lee I tried to get the part added to our site, but was unsuccessful. The good news is that you can purchase it somewhere else. If you do a Google search "15-114345 Lug Plate" ultra fab will pop up with the part you are needing. In the description it is listed as 6" long. I am sorry we do not have what you are looking for this time, but please keep us in mind when we do have what you are looking for =)
