Question:
My 08 Pathfinder 4-way connector has an 8 pin connector not a 6 pin like 118267 contains. Is there a 8-pin to 6-pin converter/adapter or a different harness I can purchase to fit?

Some Nissan vehicles came with that 8-pin connector rather than a 6-pin like most others. There isn't a plug-in harness or adapter for Nissan vehicles with the 8-pin connector, such as your 2008 Pathfinder, but there is an option for you.
First, and what I recommend, is to use the harness you have, # 118267, but cut off the vehicle and harness side connectors and hardwire them together based on function. Use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 or a meter such as # PT89ZR to test the wires on the vehicle side to determine their functions.
I recommend heat shrink butt connectors such as # DW05744-10 for 16-to-14-gauge wire or # DW05743-10 for smaller 22-to-18-gauge wire. Heat shrink connectors will keep out moisture but its still a good idea to wrap the connections in electrical tape as well.
