Published 10/22/2015 >
Question:
I have a 2015 f250 diesel with a 6.5ft box and a 37ft jayco recon toy hauler. My truck has the factory mounting hardware in the box for both king pin and goose neck. My ? is would the am3139 work considering my truck has a 6.5inch lift kit?

Helpful Expert Reply:
If your trailer sits up high enough to allow your trailer to be towed level by your truck with a 6-1/2 inch lift and still have 6 inches of clearance between the bedrails and the overhang then the Ranch Hitch part # AM3139 would work just fine.
However, most likely your truck will sit too tall for a fifth wheel trailer to be towed level behind it since you have such a large lift kit. Typically if you want to do any towing you will need a stock height truck.
