When it comes to ground clearance the preferred type of weight distribution (WD) hitch is the trunnion style, such as # RP66542 from Reese. Trunnion spring bars attach to the head unit from the side rather than from the bottom like round bar systems like the Fastway # FA94-00-0800 and so they provide better ground clearance. The linked article on WD systems may be helpful to you as it explains the features of various systems. For a 600-lb TW Reese system # RP66083 is a great choice. All you need to add is a hitch ball, part # A-90 for a 2-inch or part # 19286.
