This cord adapter is great. No more strain on the main cable nor the trailer-side connector. When I bought this a year ago, I was concerned by some reviewers' reports of the lock nut breaking (where it connects to the trailer). This led me to be very careful when threading the nut onto the connector each time I used it and I've had zero issues with it.
Working Great. Takes all the pressure off the inlet to the trailer. Arrived exactly when it was supposed to. They call Ed me and verified my order.

It truly does take the pressure off of the 50 amp power connector on my 5th wheel. Also, etrailer was excellent to work with! The had originally sent the wrong connector, but after I called to report the mistake they immediately took care of the problem and sent the correct one post haste! The staff at etrailer is excellent to work with and are exceptionally friendly and professional! I’ve never had anything but a positive experience in my dealings with etrailer!

It worked great. I ordered the wrong one first. They shipped the correct one right away and handled the return quickly,also. I always check etrailer first.
As full timers we got the power grip because we had noticed that the heavy 50 AMP power cord was putting extra wear on the power inlet on the trailer. The solution was this power grip adapter! It is as easy to use the our current cord, and with the 90 degree offset the extra strain on the power input was gone. I would buy again, and recommend it for anyone that is look to keep the power cord and trailer in the best shape for continuing use, with the least amount of work.
After seeing this on a 5th wheel that came into the campground several of us looked and saw that this would help keep our cable from degrading any faster than they were. I ordered five for myself and co-campers and none of us have experienced any issues with this product. We used them four months last year and will use them for six this year. Great product, great support from etrailer both sales and service.

This 45 degree 50 amp pigtail will save your shore power connection. It reduces undue strain on your outlet by sending the weight of the cable down instead of out. Both ends are screw in to maintain watertight integrity. eTrailer.com has the best price out there!

Still working great! I do put a little silicone around the threads to keep it lubed up for ease of installation. Best pigtail out there!
Product is as described. It is well built and will fit my need to convert my 50A shore power cable (for an RV camper) to a 90 degree connection at the 50A input plug on the side of the RV. I will put it to use regularly.

Flawless
good product. etrailer customer service was excellent: Vanessa was very patient with me as I determined that the socket on my Montana had been mis-installed. I originally thought the Camco adaptor was defective because the ground plate wasn't on top. Turns out the inerds of the socket in my Montana had been installed 120 degrees out of position which would have caused the cord to point upward....

Works perfectly. Glad I bought it. Eliminates torque on the RVs electrical supply receptacle.
We used it for the 1st time last weekend. It seems to make a big difference on the strain to the factory outlet on the trailer. The original set up was plugging the heavy 50amp cord directly into the side of the trailer. This 90? puts all the load pulling straight down, placing the load on all four mounting points on the plug instead of just 2.

Working great, saves the plug on the RV. and the end of the very expensive power cord.
What i needed.
This is the only right angle 50A RV connector I could find that was thin enough to fit in my application once I cut the handle off. It works well except for the fact that the threads on the tightening nut seem to be overly tight and bind when tightening. A little vasoline seems to have helped. All-in-all, it does the job I needed done.
Arrived broken.
This 90 degree plug works great it keeps from putting stress on your cord that plugs into the camper.

Its working great wish that I bought this a long time ago
Really like this pigtail for my Solitude S- Class 3640GK . The one thing I did not like about the cord Grand Design sends with its units is that there is a lot of pressure on both the outlet and the plug as pictures will show . Only thing I would suggest is the the plug be all black
This does all that I hoped for. It’s a solid connection to the 5th wheel. It doesn’t torque the connection with the weight of the cord sticking straight out,

The locking ring for the connection to the 5th wheel broke on our first outing I think. The unit was replaced and has worked as good as hoped since. After having this for a while now we have to be careful not to cross thread it. Maybe it could use a more course thread on it. Beyond that it works great and no stress on the sidewall.
It will take the stress off the main electrical connection to the trailer.
I got this to take the stress off the connections from the hose diameter 50 amp cord. It appears to be very heavy duty and it's nice to have the cord drop straight down instead of sticking straight out and then curving down.

Works as advertised. Its so simple Im surprised its not just built in to all RV power cords, especially the 50 amp beasts.
Just received the adapter and haven't had a chance to use it yet. But I've wanted one of these for a long time now as the 50 amp plug sticks straight out from the receptacle. Always thought this was a dumb design as it puts a lot of stress on the plug and cord. The prices are starting to look more attractive so I decided to bite the bullet and get one.

We have used it many times over this past year and so far I am happy with it. There is one glitch and that is the locking collar. It is plastic and for some reason it is challenging to get it started on the treaded outlet connector. Now this is plastic also so maybe its the combination of the two that makes it difficult to start. I wish both threaded pieces were made out of stainless steel instead of plastic.
The elbow connector is doing it’s job. Much easier to connect to the side of our travel trailer than the straight cord connection that came with it. Extends the original cord by 2 feet and relieves the stress on the connection on the side of the trailer. Working well

Product Review:
it works but not how I need it to. It Might work for you depending on your trailer Plug-in. It comes off of Mine at the 9 o'clock position instead of going straight down. I'm in search of one that allows my cord to go straight down from the trailer . On my original plug the silver is at the 12 o'clock position. On the adapter plug the silver is at the 9 o'clock position. I need to find an adapter that has the silver at the 12 o'clock position.
Part arrived with a cracked thread ring. Contacted etrailer that day and replacement ring was sent out that day. Received new ring promptly and installed with out issues. Great customer service. Highly recommend
