Thule Force XL Replacement Hinge Recommendation

Question:
How do I replace the hinge on the Thule Force XL? Ive viewed your videos on the Atlantis, but this has the balls on the lid of the bin and not on the metal bar as shown in the video. A vice grip also will not work as the slant of the box makes it an awkward squeeze.

The replacement hinge for the Thule Force XL is the part # TH14936 that you referenced. Basically the old hinge will pry off with a bit of force or leverage and the new one will get pressed on either by a tight squeeze from your hands or from a set of channel locks like in the video I attached.
If you can't fit a vice grip or channel lock in there you may try using a rubber mallet to gently press the hinge on.
