What are the dimensions of the plate? Im wondering about mounting a hand crank winch on one.

I spoke to my contact at Dutton Lainson and they informed me that the Dutton Lainson Adapter plate part # DL24059 that you referenced is 7.7 inches long and 5.50 inches wide.

Need this for my Seadoo wave runner. I have a 2 x 3 tongue on my trailer. Want to put a small hand crank winch on it. Does this stop have modifications

If your tongue is 3" wide, the Dutton-Lainson Adapter Plate # DL24059 should actually work well without modification. The included u-bolt is just over 3" wide (inside dimension).
