would the trailer battery pin in my factory 7-pin glk250 2014 be connected, and if so what amp fuse would be installed?

Most likely the 12 volt accessory circuit of your 2014 Mercedes GLK250 would be active on your vehicle. You can test this with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. To determine the amperage rating of the circuit you will need to find the fuse connected to this circuit in the fuse box of your vehicle.
The 12 volt pin will be the one in the 2:00 position.
