Question:
I have a question about the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller. My tow vehicle has a 7 PIN plug already: Pin No. Function 1 Common Ground 2 Electric Brake 3 Tail and License 4 Battery Charge 5 Left Stop and Turn 6 Right Stop and Turn 7 Center Auxiliary However, PIN 2 for electric brake is not actually connected. The other 6 PINs are active and working. Will the Prodigy RF still work okay with this setup?

Yes, the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # TK94FR only needs power from the battery charge line, ground and stop/turn signals to function. The power is what gives the controller its power and it watches for power going to both the brake lights to activate. This is the reason you cannot use the emergency flashers with this controller. It sees both side lights activating at the same time and cannot determine they are flashers versus the brake lights.
