Question:
So it looked like I need another vehical with a 7 way plug to prair my prodigy rf to my ml350 Benz but my question is do I need to do this every time or just 1 time I tow that trailer? Or is it a one time thing?

You should only have to pair the RF # TK94FR once and then it will be good to go after that. The only time when you may have to pair it again is if you do not tow the trailer for many months in a row. Or if you change tow vehicles. Otherwise it stays paired after the first time.
