Will The Tekonsha Prodigy RF Trailer Brakes Pulse When Using The Turn Signals and Stopping?

Question:
My vehicle is a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee with factory tow. Anyway I am comparing Curt Echo and Tekonsha wireless units. I am leaning towards Tekonsha because of the more robust and secure attachment to the trailer as well as the easy accessibility of the remote for readout and the manual over-ride button. However I am concerned about the issue of pulsating brakes with hazard lights. Hazard lights dont present that much of an issue to me except that I have read trailer towing forum threads that stated that the brakes pulsate with the turn signal as well. THAT would be unacceptable. I assume this could happen since the unit apparently interprets a signal from pins #5 and #6 brake and turn signal lights as brake light to energize trailer brakes and I assume thats what happens when hazards are on. Can you advise as to whether or not the pulsating actually occurs when using turn signals as well?

I spoke to Tekonsha about their Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller w/ Bluetooth # TK94FR and they explained in detail how the controller interprets the brake signal. It is looking at the power input from both the turn signal/brake light wires. The reason it will pulse the brakes on the hazard lights and not the turn signal is it sees power starting and stopping at the same time with hazard lights. When you press the brakes it also sees power on both circuits starting and stopping at the same time, this is why the hazard lights cause a pulsing. When you use the turn signals the power is not starting and stopping from both wires at the same time so it knows you are using the turn signal and not brakes.
