Question:
I have a trailer end 4 wire round connector for some trailer auxiliary lights. I have a 4 pin flat on my vehicle or the traditional 7 pin round. Is there an adaptor that would allow me to plug my 4 pin round into a 7 pin round? If so, what is it called? Thanks

I have a solution for you. However, we do not have an adapter to fit your 4-pin round connector on your trailer.
Because of the rarity a 4-way round connector, I recommend either cutting off the 4-way round and attaching a 4-way flat, or splicing a 4-way flat into your wiring in addition to the 4-way round. To attach a 4-way flat, you can use part # HM48035.
If you remove your 4-way Round connector, you will want to use butt connectors # DW05744-5. If you want to add the 4-way Flat in addition to your current connector, you will want 4 quick splice connectors # SWC502905-1.
If you don't want to mess with your trailer's wiring, you could use the 4-way flat trailer connector # HM48035 with a vehicle end trailer wire connector # RM-910030-1 to create an adapter. The wires from the 4-way flat would be hardwired to the 4-way round connector. I have attached a picture showing which wire connect in which locations on the 4-way round connector.
