Where is the Brake Controller Fuse Located on a 2013 Chevy Suburban
Published 07/23/2015 >
Question:
Have a 2013 Suburban and successfully installed brake controller that was in my old suburban. It was working fine, however I had it mounted using Velcro which eventually failed so I ordered a new mount from you guys. Mount install went fine however when rerouting the cables the bullet plug connector on the power lead came apart and the wire touched metal sparked and Im guessing blew a fuse somewhere. Now the question, where is that fuse? I looked in the fuse box and pulled many fuses that diagram said TRLR - assuming thats Trailer, but I didnt find any visibly blow looking fuses. Do you know the fuse number or the location so I can just replace it? Thanks!

The fuse for the brake controller on a 2013 Chevy Suburban should be at the front of the power distribution box (closest to the front of the vehicle) and nearest to one of the 2 terminals at are at the very front of the box. I have included a picture that should help and a help article. According to the owners manual for the vehicle the brake controller fuse is in location 6.
