We do have a solution that would allow you to install a 7-way trailer connector on your Tundra, but the # HM43385 7-way connector wasn't a fit for the Tundra until the 2003 model year.
To install the 7-way, you'll need functional 4-pole connector. If you don't have one, you can install one using part # 118367.
How you proceed from here will depend on whether or not your trailer has brakes. If it does not, you can simply use an adapter like part # 37185. Plug the adapter into the 4-pole and ground the white wire on the adapter. The rest of the wires aren't necessary, you can just bundle them up out of the way.
If your trailer does have brakes, you'll need to install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Primus, part # TK90160. You'd also need our Brake Controller Install Kit, part # ETBC7. The kit includes the adapter mentioned above, as well as all the wire, circuit breakers and hardware you'll need to complete the installation. I'll link you to the instructions for the install kit, as well as to a video showing the kit being used to install a brake controller on a 2002 Tundra. The procedure shown in the video would be identical for your truck.
I've also linked to some FAQ articles that you might find helpful.
