Question:

What is the difference in between the DL21741 and the CE2771o? and can I install either one with out mounting it to the existing 2x4 bunk? Will the roller bunk handle approx 1000 lbs.? Thanks

There isn't a whole lot of difference between Dutton-Lainson roller bunks # DL21741 and CE Smith roller bunks # CE27710. Both have 5 foot long sections. Each section is rated for 1500 pounds. There are 6 rollers per section on both. Both are made with galvanized steel and heavy duty black rubber rollers.

The main difference besides price is the shape of the rollers is not exactly the same.

Either set can be mounted on a bunk or independently. To mount independently you would need the proper brackets. For the Dutton-Lainson set you would use # DL21742. And for the CE Smith set you would use # CE10003G-4.
