Question:

the Curt Hitch part # C11226 for 2015 Audi A6 3 liter Does it require cutting the fascia? We are leasing the vechicle.

The light-duty Curt Class I hitch you referenced, part # C11423 for the 2015 Audi A6, does require some minor fascia trimming. I understand that since you are leasing the car you clearly do not want any issues when its time to turn it back in.

You could simply remove the rear fascia and keep it until its time to return the vehicle. It is held on by 3 screws. I realize this may not be the most pleasing idea for aesthetic reasons but it does avoid the issue of having to deal with returning a modified lease vehicle. The linked instructions illustrate installation and I've also included a helpful article concerning hitch installations.

This 1-1/4-inch hitch can carry up to 2 bikes on a compatible Class I bike rack or can be used with a Class I cargo carrier (please see the links provided for you). Curt requires use of a stabilizing strap # 18050 with any non-trailer load, such as either a bike rack or cargo carrier.
