Question:

We own a Thule rack that looks just like your part number TH934XTR, and would like to use it on a 2011 C300 sedan / 4-door. Two questions: 1. How much of the C11030 receiver projects down below the bottom surface of the bumper i.e. how much can you see from behind the car? Do you have a picture showing the rear bumper of a similar application? 2. Where should the car endfoot of strap p/n 18050 attach? To the forward lip of the trunk lid? Thanks,

I do not have the exact measurement but I do have two images of the Curt trailer hitch # C11030 installed on the 2011 Mercedes-Benz C300 sedan / 4-door for you to check out. As you can see, the hitch is very unobtrusive.

With the Curt Stabilizer Strap, # 18050, you'll take the clip end and hook it on the lid of the trunk. I have also included a video of the Support Strap which shows this installation procedure.
