Great product, and easy to install. The only problem I had is the smell of it. I would've given it five stars if it wasn't for very strong smell (kerosine?). It's overwhelming...got it on my hands, got a slight headache from it. This is the smell that usually comes from "made in China" products.

  • Installation of Trailer Hitch Receiver 75676 on 2014 Lexus 450h
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75676 is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Lexus RX 450h. We do not have any videos of the RX450h with that particular hitch receiver, but I have added the video of the installation of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13143 which is also a fit to assist.

  • Troubleshooting Kuat Transfer Bike Rack that Moves in the Hitch
If you check out the test course video I attached for the Kuat Transfer TS02G that shows how stable it is on the road you'll see that the rack is supposed to be pretty stable once the hitch pin is tightened. What is most likely going on is that the hitch pin may not be tight enough to remove all of the movement. The easiest way to fix this is to tighten the hitch pin while you move the rack around in the hitch. This is the easiest way to get all of the movement out of the rack. For...

  • Carrying a 40 Pound Bike on a Trailer Hitch Receiver Mounted Bike Rack With a 2012 Mazda 3
The Swagman XTC-2, part # S64670, won't be able to carry a 40 pound bike. The weight maximums of the racks are very much set in stone, as the location of the weight of the bike changes the physics of the bike rack's ride and can cause damage if exceeded. Instead, I recommend the Swagman's Chinook, part # S64683. This rack adds a few features to the rack and an increased capacity to 45 pounds. Specifically over the XTC-2, it adds integrated hitch and bike locks, tilt away and fold up features...

  • What Lock Do I Need For My 2" Kuat Transfer V2 Hitch Bike Rack
There are two different Kuat Transfer V2 hitch bike racks. If you have the newer version, it has a cam lock and a special tool for the anti-rattle bolt, you need the Hitch Lock for Kuat Bike Racks - 2" Hitches, part # HL2. If you have the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount, part # KU74FR, you need the Cable Locks and Hitch Lock for Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Rack, part # PTSCLK12. Unfortunately, you can only get the hitch lock in the kit with the cable...

  • Is Hollywood Racks Destination 2 Bike Platform Suitable For Carbon Fiber Frames
The Hollywood Racks Destination 2 Bike Platform part # HLY94FR does hold the bikes by the frames which we do not normally recommend for carbon fiber bike frames to avoid scratches or damage to the frame. However, the Hollywood Racks platform rack features padded frame cradles that hold the frame in place to avoid scratching so it is a possibility for your carbon fiber frame if you are not concerned with frame contact. If you prefer a bike rack that only holds the bikes by the wheels (no...

The lock we do offer comes in three different options but is not compatible with the Sherpa Bike Rack it works with the Kuat Transfer. You can purchase a single lock, a 2-pack, or a 3-pack. The single option is the Cable Lock and Hitch Lock for Kuat Transfer 1 Bike Rack item # ATSCLK11011. The 2-pack is the Cable Locks and Hitch Lock for Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Rack item # PTSCLK12. • Comparing the Saris Freedom and Kuat Transfer for Use on a 2017 Toyota Prius Prime
One of the biggest factors when it comes to deciding bike rack fit is the distance from the center of your hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of your bumper. When we installed the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24966 on a 2017 Toyota Prius Prime we found that distance to be 7". Out of the Saris Freedom 2 # SA4412B and the Kuat Transfer 2 # KU74FR, or their Fat Bike variations # SA4412B-FB and Transfer's Adapter # APBK, I prefer the Transfer. It is a wheel mount bike rack...

  • Locking Hitch Pin for Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Rack
There is a solution for you, but the HitchMate Threaded Lock # HE6001 will not work with your Kuat Transfer 2. You'd want the Cable Locks and Hitch Lock for Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Rack # PTSCLK12, which includes a hitch lock that attaches to your existing threaded hitch pin. The kit also includes a pair of cable locks to secure your bikes. I've added a link to a video review of this lock set for you to check out as well.

  • Recommendation for Carrying a Bike with a 2010 Mercedes-Benz C300 for Easy Trunk Access
Since trunk mount bike racks must be removed each and every time the trunk is opened I highly recommend going with a hitch mounted bike rack. I know you said you don't have a trailer hitch on your 2010 Mercedes-Benz C300 but we have everything you need to easily carry your bike while also being able to seamlessly access the trunk on your Sedan. The only trailer hitch that is available for your vehicle is the Curt Class I # C11030 with the 1-1/4" receiver. Because this is a Class I trailer...

  • Recommended 2-Bike Hitch Mount Rack for 2016 Mazda 3 and 2016 Honda CR-V
Both the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Platform Rack # KU74FR and the Saris SuperClamp EX # SA4025F referenced in your question are really nice 2-bike platform style racks. Either of these will work great with a trailer hitch on your 2016 Mazda 3 and 2016 Honda CR-V. The Saris Freedom does feature a slightly larger weight capacity and includes both a hitch lock and cable lock to secure your bikes and carrier, however for your particular vehicles I recommend the Kuat Transfer. That is because unlike...

  • Compatibility of Kuat Cable Locks and Hitch Lock With Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock on Kuat Transfer
The Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock # HLT can be used with the # PTSCLK12. However, if you're asking if we can pull just the pin out of the # HLT and add it to the # PTSCLK12 that is not possible. The threaded hitch pin is not available on its own so the two will have to be purchased individually. Both are compatible with the Kuat Transfer manufactured before 2021.

  • Adding a Hitch Lock to a Kuat Transfer Bike Rack on a 2016 Hyundai Sonata
Anti-rattle device and hitch lock # SHP2082 will not fit the Kuat Transfer. The Transfer already has a threaded weld nut in its shank that is not accessible so you would not be able to install the block part of the anti-rattle device in the shank. You can use # PTSCLK12 to add bike and hitch locks to the Kuat Transfer but you would still need that special tool to thread in and tighten the Kuat hitch bolt. Trailer hitch # 24965 will not be a factor.

  • Adding Hitch Pin and Bike Locks to the Kuat Transfer TS02G on a 2018 Honda CR-V
We have exactly what you need to add locks to the Kuat Transfer TS02G. For just a locking hitch pin you can use part # HLT, but if you are wanting to add locks for the bike(s) as well then you would want the part # PTSCLK12. Either of these options will secure the Transfer to the Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 76128 on your 2018 Honda CR-V while you are out riding around. I do recommend going with the lock kit that comes with the cables as well so that when you have to run in the store or a gas...

You're in the right direction for the Class I hitch, as the Thule DoubleTrack Pro XT, part # TH92BJ is a great choice for a lot of different bikes. The DoubleTrack is fairly easy to load and the unique way that the frame clamps are mounted on the bike rack allows for you to mount in a variety of ways to the frame. • Locking Hitch Pin Recommendation for a Kuat Transfer 2 TS02G Bike Rack
The Kuat Transfer 2 that you referenced comes with an anti-rattle device. • Locking Hitch Pin Recommendation for Kuat Bike Rack
I do have an option for you but the Lets Go Aero lock part # 63232 is not actually compatible with the Kuat Transfer rack because Kuat racks have special threads and only works with their hitch pin.
