Is there an add on feature to lock bikes or what do you suggest?

There is indeed an add-on cable/hitch lock for the Kuat Transfer 2 bike rack TS02G. You'll want part # PTSCLK12, which includes the cable lock and the locking piece that goes on the existing threaded hitch pin.
