How To Use Optional # PTSCLK12 Cable Lock Kit for Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Rack

Question:

are the cables in the lock kit long enough to reach the frame in the front bike? The photo makes the cables look very short with them attaching to the rear of the rack.

The cable lock kit for the Kuat Transfer Bike Rack, part # PTSCLK12 includes locks for two bikes. The cable locks would install in the end of the bars that secure the bikes to the TS02G rack, as shown in the diagram I've provided from the instructions.
