I really like the solid design and threaded locking mechanism. Seems very well made and fits my 1997 Tahoe factory hitch perfectly! I don’t tow all that often but wanted a way to secure the Chevy Bow Tie emblem when I’m not towing my boat.
Worked great on my 2015 Ram. Easy to install and remove, just added some lube and a water hose washer to keep it from moving.
This matched so beautifully with the USMC hitch!
Works well.
This product is outstanding; after I purchased my first a week or so ago as a test solution, I have purchased two additional , total three.
Being made in the USA is important to me, PLUS the design and manufacturing is superior.
The attached picture on my pal Benji [who is 16] is guarding the place, the other picture is one of my uses for the hitch lock, although not for a hitch.
A very clever design.
First of all, the products you find at etrailer are not your garden variety, home depot kind of fair. Much higher quality and grade/weight ratings. So to be able to get hard to find items and then by orderring at least 100$ worth of stuff also get it delivered free in 4 days, is awesome. The prices are incredible too. These are not sold in my area at any price.
Looks great! Fits perfect. Operates and functions as reported. It will secure my ball mount for sure. I have it mounted on a DrawTite Class III #75238 which is attached to my new 2017 Tacoma.
Thank you ETrailer.com.....you are awesome!
Wouldn’t change a thing with my trailer lock the stainless steel design makes it superior an extra strong locks and unlocks every time I use it just like it should
Great customer service and prompt delivery of my order. However, the long term wear off the product is suspect due to rust allowing after less than a year of use. I paid a little bit more for this product in hopes that the stainless steel would help prolong the rust.
great lock that fits my 2003 4Runner (which does not fit a conventional angled lock with cotter pin). it fits really well and there is little to no play between the lock's shaft and the hitch's lock hole, meaning hopefully there will be no rattle. it is just barely wider than the hitch, so again, little to no play. the lock uses a key and thread system, so you turn the key a number of revolutions, as you are unthreading a screw, rather than unlocking a conventional lock. nice rubber cover for the lock to avoid grime.
etrailer has always been a good option for me for trailering and truck needs. Service is great and their house brand products have worked well for me.
I wish that their shipping department would differentiate between me and my brother. There several people in my houshold that use the same address.
Had an issue with one lock of three not being keyed alike and they resolved it with one phone call. Awesome customer service and great products!
Worked perfectly and love the fact that these can be ordered as keyed alike. Being stainless steel, they should last the lifetime of the truck.
As you can see in the pictures, I have a class III receiver hitch welded to the Iron Bull brand front and the rear bumpers and employ your receiver locks to secure my front license plate and the chrome and black Colorado cap in the rear when I am not using the hitch to pull my bass boat.
Ordered this item in late December, specifically because it is described as "rustproof, stainless steel." After only a few months use, on a vehicle that is garage kept and also kept very clean, it is already starting to rust. etrailer.com will only replace if I cover the shipping to send it back to them first. IMO, etrailer.com should do better to back the products that they sell. I don't wish to spend any more money, even if it is only shipping cost, to get a replacement that will likely do the same thing. NOT RUSTPROOF.
Outstanding product, and Customer Servi ce...!
Working as advertised on front mounted hitch wench.
Shipping was not as promised. 3 locks were as described, but I only received 1 KEY. Packaging was good, but as said the shipment was delayed which could have the result of continuing problems with the USPS service.
I'm 67yrs old...female.....and I could NEVER get the cotter pin back on/off the receiver....this product allows me to simply screw it in place.
love it!
Great hitch lock for a great price. Packed great and shipped fast!
Very solid receiver lock absolutely no issues
Had one before and went with the stainless steel version this time. Etrailer is top notch. Everything arrived quickly and perfect shape.
Bought these locking hitch pins along with several other parts and pieces for towing and can't say enough about the quality of them and the Excellent Customer Service provided by etrailer amd especially Alex!!
Fits but is it true stainless steel?
Not too crazy about the locking mechanism. Having broken off more than one key over the years in numerous applications, using a key as a "wrench" to screw the two halves together and apart leaves me a bit nervous. I fear that after the pin has been exposed the weather over the years, the screw threads may become stuck together. The key may not be sufficiently stout enough to separate the two pieces. Time will tell.
That product is great. The bike rack it was meant to lock was a total piece of junk.

It is indeed, Robert. Wouldn't be very honest to say it if it weren't true. What are you using it to lock up?
