This fully welded trailer hitch receiver bolts onto your vehicle's frame with no welding required. Matte black, powder coated steel is durable and corrosion resistant and creates a rugged look.It took me about three hours to fully install the hitch. The hitch itself took me about an hour (including getting all the tools). It was a little harder installing it from the garage floor. A note for anyone using a floor jack like I did; they should be sure to remove the spare tire and secure the hitch to the jack before lifting. The hitch fit perfectly and it wasn't as hard as a person would think. The time consuming part was cutting the plastic and re-installing it. I'm 73 years old and that should say it all. I will recommend etrailer.com to others. Thanks for the great product!
Purchased this hitch for my wife so she can attach our bike rack to her Highlander when she travels. Very quick delivery. Very well made. Really like the matte finish, matches perfectly to the matte finish on her bumper, looks factory installed. Can’t beat the capacity numbers, will handle anything her vehicle could tow. Took about an hour to install, not bad at all. Lowest price I could find. Totally satisfied, great product and company!
The product itself seems to be made well. The problem is with the shipping. My box came with 2 large holes and the ends of my hitch were all banged up. I get that it’s going under my car and going to get all banged up but you would expect better packing on a heavy object.

Packaged delivered several days early. Install was not difficult, required 2 sets of hands to lift and temporarily secure the hitch. I installed in my garage on the ground. One will need to purchase or loan a torque wrench that can handle 86 ft/lb. Looks great and was a custom fit for the vehicle.

Trailer hitch works very well. Attached to my Toyota Highlander pretty well. Had to cut away some of the plastic to make it fit. Also, the receiver hitch wobbles around a little bit and makes some noise. Needed to get a hitch stabilizer. But all in all, really solid and does well.
This etrailer hitch is easily equal or better than the big name brands I’ve had on other vehicles. Fit and finish are very good, and installation was really straight forward. Instructional video showed the process really well, so if you can turn a wrench and follow directions you can install this hitch. This model feels unobtrusive on the back of my Highlander, really doesn’t stick out too much at all. I appreciate the matte black finish, it blends well with the lower bumper. Can’t speak to the longevity of the finish, it’s only been on a day. Overall, I’m pleased with the hitch, and very happy with the price. Shipping was fast, I have no complaints.

Hitch fit perfect. Took about 20 minutes to bolt hitch to frame. About 45 minutes to remove and trim plastic cover. If you’re working alone recommend using floor jack to hold in place while installing bolts
This hitch is bombproof. After one year it is still super solid. It is low profile and looks great. I’ve pulled several things with it but mostly use it for my bike rack and cargo tray. It was a lot of work to install but the instructions were detailed and accurate for my vehicle. I would definitely buy it again.

Very simple to install. I did in my driveway without dropping spare. Had a little help holding up side while installing bolts on other rail. Only tough bolt to put in was one right above muffler. Very happy with the way it fits and looks. Highly recommend
Overall excellent. Couldn't be any happier with the install. All the bolts lined properly like, it's factory made. Great product by etrailer and would 100% re-buy again.
Product is excellent. Customer service, payment, shipping and delivery are as bad as it gets. Needed this hitch within a week so selected expedited shipping. Ordered on a Thursday and shipping estimate was for the following Tuesday. etrailer called me on Friday evening and said they forgot to collect tax so order was not processed until Friday evening. I requested fastest shipping possible to keep original delivery of Tuesday (since the mistake was on etrailers end I figured this was a reasonable request). etrailer ignored my request and indicated that hitch would arrive Wednesday. With expedited shipping to Denver, CO the hitch had two stops in Missouri, one in Spokane WA, one in Missoula, MT and then to Denver. The order I placed on September 15 finally arrived on September 24 with "expedited shipping". I requested that etrailer delay shipping to Monday the 26th because we were going to be out of town. etrailer told me to find a friend or neighbor to get package off of my porch or call UPS myself to deal with it. When the package was finally delivered 9 days after I ordered it, the box was destroyed and hitch was scratched up. (see picture). Anyway, expect a good product and bad customer service. I'm sure etrailer will respond to this review with some sort of defense on what happened......
Fit as it said it would. Video was on the spot. For someone like me and no garage, laid on my back in driveway and successfully put it on.

The etrailer hitch was very easy to install and works great. I installed it myself without a car lift or a pit. I did use 2 steel ramps for more clearance while installing. Light harness purchased with hitch was also very easy to install by plugging into vehicle harness. I now need to install a hitch on my mother-in-law's vehicle after she viewed mine.

Direction online prepared us how to assemble which made the job very easy. Anyone should be able to assemble.
The hitch was shipped in a box with no reinforcements. It was heavy and awkward so it traveled being thrown around and came to me falling out. I had to pay the $ shipping it back because customer service refused to and drag back to UPS after taping it all back up. Parts were most likely missing but I was not going to mess around trying to figure it out so I shipped it right back. I reached out and they said I’d have to pay for it. Ship it right the first time and you won’t have an unhappy customer!! That’s why I just stick to other online retailers no worries, boxed correctly, no questions and no paying for shipping.
