Today, we're going to take a look at replacement three speed switch for the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent. This with replace the three speed switch in your Fan-Tastic Vent 12-volt Roof Vent. It is designed to work with the part number FV803350 fan, and we do sell that separately on our website. That part will allow you to change the speed of the fan. It controls the fan manually. You can turn the speed knob on the right here, and there are three speeds.
Low, medium, and high. But that should do it for the review on the replacement three speed switch for Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent.
My Dometic model FA1200 fan quit working completely. I traced the problem to the switch, doubting I could ever find a replacement part like that. But e-trailer came through again! Easily found the 3-speed fan switch that looked like the correct one, they had it in stock reasonably priced, received it quickly with standard shipping, installed easily since it was an exact replacement, & works like new again. A few years ago I bought a used camper, which had two Fantastic fans. They both worked, but the front one only ran on high speed. All three positions resulted in high speed. This year I decided to clean both fans and see if I could fix the speed control on the front one. I found this switch on etrailer and ordered it. After ordering, I saw the installation instructions which indicated how to connect the wires to the switch. I took the fan apart to better clean it, and in comparing the instructions to the way my switch was hooked up, noticed mine was different. I changed the terminal on of the wires was attached to and IT WORKED PROPERLY. Sooo... now I have a spare switch. The information presented by etrailer is what solved my problem, so I do not regret spending the money at all. After all, etrailer is what fixed my problem, and I am a happy camper either way. When we got to our site for a long stay we noticed that we had some electrical problems, just 2 after did some trouble shooting. One was our fan stop working, found that this switch went bad, ck web and as usual etrailer had the exact part number, its an easy plug and play to replace.
The other was a snap plug had not been snapped together, easy fix.
The fan now works like before and works fantastic.

After 1 yr, switch is working perfectly! Installed in bathroom vent and when camping is running most of the time. So has many hours on it.

The switch itself appears very well made and I have no doubt that it can last as long as the original switch did... 27 years. After a year of steady use I have no issues to report. No doubt in my mind that Ill get at least another 26 years of use out of it!
Perfect to fix my fan!
This was just the switch I needed for my 2015 T@G.
I installed the switch and it works Thank you and it got here pretty fast considering where it had to come from. DG !!!!!!!!!

Part is fine as far as that goes, but it is a bad design and should be replaced with something that lasts longer. I've probably replaced this 3-4 times over the last 15 years or so.
This didn't work for my Fantastic vent fan. I don't know what model number of fan I have, but my RV is a 2007 and the Fantastic Fan has/had a rain sensor control system that didn't work. I thought that this 3 speed controller would work, but one lead goes to a PC board and I don't know where to locate that lead to my PC board, which is probably why my fan doesn't work. The switch was fine, just didn't work for my fan.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I cannot find what model fan you have either. The replacement switch you bought just changes the speed of the fan, so if the fan is not working you may need to replace the whole unit. This is the fan that works with the replacement switch:

The product was great, but didnt work for my application. I kept it and may need to use it the future.
My Fantastic vent fan model 3300 quite working, the fan motor worked with a set of jumper wires so Thought the problem might be the 3 way switch. After I received the new switch from etrailer it was a quick and easy job installing it. The fan now works like new. Finding the switch, ordering it and a quick delivery made it an easy fix. Thanks etrailer.

Still just like new!
Works great. As advertised. E trailer had the correct part. Not a "kinda like" part. Even the factory store could not replace with the switch that was installed when built.
It’s so nice to have my new fantastic vent fan switch in and the fan working once again. It’s a simple five minute replacement. Thanks again to etrailer for a quick ship and a reasonable product price.

etrailer is great, no issues. Switch by fantastic fan, not so much. This switch should have lasted years not months. I hope the the replacement switch from etrailer lasts longer than the factory’s.

Well here is an update for our switch. So far so good. Haven’t had an issue and switch still working. Fingers crossed for another year.
This was delivered on time and it replaced the 30-year old switch perfectly!! My class B is 30 years old and it is a relief I can find parts to keep it going in tip-top shape. etrailer has been a terrific resource for that over the years. Thanks!! :-)

A year later, my replacement switch has worked just great. These older van gems often need updates here and there. This product kept me from having to replace the entire fantastic fan. It works just as one wants it to and was easy to replace. Im still very pleased. Thanks etrailer!
