Features to know about

A True Rear View for Towing

Towing a camper or trailer can make lane change feel like a leap of faith. This system puts a high-resolution camera on your third brake light and a wireless camera at the back of your trailer, so you can see the bed, road, or whatever's following your rig. No more white-knuckle backing into a campsite or hoping nothing's hiding in your blind spot. With one tap, you can swap between views and know exactly what's happening behind you. Also, the third brake light camera makes it much easier to line up your gooseneck or fifth wheel trailer.

Wireless Trailer Camera - No Long Cable Runs

Anyone who's ever tried to run a cable to the back of a camper knows it's a pain. The wireless trailer cam gives you a live video feed all the way from the end of your rig to the mirror in your truck. You don't need to fish wires or mess with connectors every time you hook up. You'll always have a clear, real-time view even with a long trailer.

Full-Width Digital Mirror for Instant Switching

This big, bright digital mirror replaces your factory rear view and puts a crisp HD video feed right in front of you. Just tap the button to swap from your bed to your trailer, check your cargo, or get a full view of traffic behind your trailer before merging.

Custom Installation

This kit is built specifically for Chevrolet and GMC trucks and comes with camera mounts, mirror bracket, wiring harnesses, and a wireless receiver. The third brake light camera installs below the factory housing using the existing mounting screws, while the trailer cam mounts with a universal bracket. If you haven't tackled a wiring job like this before, a professional installation is recommended.

Video Transcript for Review of Brandmotion Backup Camera - Custom Fit Wireless Transparent Trailer Camera System - BM39SR

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Brandmotion Custom-Fit Wireless Transparent Trailer Camera System with this digital rear-view mirror. Now, this system has been designed to fit your 2019 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500s, then your 2022 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 Limited, and then your 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, both the 2500 and the 3500s. Now, on custom-fit parts such as this system, I do recommend taking advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer.com. Input the year, make and model of your vehicle, and our Fit Guide will confirm if this system will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. As you probably know, towing a camper or a trailer can make a lane change feel like a leap of faith sometimes.

This system is going to put a high-resolution camera on the third brake light, and a wireless camera on the back of your trailer, so you're gonna be able to see the bed of your truck, the road behind you, and whatever else might be following your rig. So, you're not gonna have to worry about any more white knuckle backing into a campsite, or hoping that nothing is in your blind spot or behind you. With one tap, you're gonna be able to swap between views on this mirror, knowing exactly what's going on behind you. So, this big, bright digital mirror is going to replace your factory rear-view mirror, and it's going to put a crisp HD video feed right in front of you. You're just gonna tap the button to swap from your bed to your trailer, and you're gonna be able to check your cargo or get a full view of traffic behind your trailer before merging.

So, the LCD screen size is gonna be 9.66 inches. It has a resolution of 1980 by 320. And then this truck camera is going to mount on the third brake light bezel. And the third brake light camera is a direct-fit replacement. And this camera has a resolution of 1920 by 1080, and a field of view of 155-degrees horizontal.

And then this also features this wireless camera that's going to give you a live video feed all the way back from the end of your rig to the mirror in your truck. So, you're not gonna have to worry about fishing out wires or mess with connectors every time you hook up. You'll always have a clear, real-time view. Even with a long trailer, it's gonna come with this receiver, so this is going to communicate and the receiver will then send that image back to your mirror. The resolution of this camera is 1280 by 1080.

It's got a field of view of 120-degrees horizontal. Both cameras are waterproof and dustproof. They're IP68-rated, so they're gonna stand up to rain, road spray and tough conditions. Now, you're gonna get everything that you see here on my table before me, the wiring, the wiring harnesses, cables, brackets. Everything that you're going to need to get this installed into place. However, I do wanna point out that if you've never tackled a wiring job like this before, a professional installation is recommended, and if you need help finding a trusted installer, take advantage of our installer locator link on this product page. If you look underneath the photo section right above those tabs there that you see there on your screen, we have a link there that you can click. And once you click that installer link, you're just going to input your ZIP code, and then that installer link will do the hard work of looking for a trusted installer that we have partnered with to help you get this installed into play. So, it's very simple to use, and so if you don't wanna tackle the wiring yourself, please do take advantage of that installer locator link. If you do pick this up, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with the installation, whether you did it or one of our recommended installers did it, and how this is working out for you, so you can share your experiences with us by dropping a comment or leaving a review on this product page. If you happen to have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach back out. We wanna be sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
