Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the HappiJac Replacement Spring-Loaded Turnbuckle.This is going to replace one of the spring-loaded turnbuckles on your HappiJac Qwik-Load turnbuckle set. As you know, a turnbuckle is going to secure your camper to your truck. The one hook is going to attach to your camper, the other hook is going to attach to the anchor point provided by your truck's tie-down system, so that your camper is nice and secure to your truck. It's not going to roll, sway, or anything like that. It's going to give you a much smoother ride and keep your camper attached.The spring action of this particular turnbuckle is going to help prevent any sort of damage to your camper by reducing the stress on the camper when we have it tightened down.
If we we're to hit a bump or something like that, the the stress that would be involved in that is going to be reduced by this spring action.The removable handle is going to make it much easier to quickly attach and detach from our camper. The spacing here is going to prevent our knuckles from getting smashed when we're opening and closing our turnbuckle. You'll see the rubber cushion here. Like the original, it's going to provide comfort, not only when gripping, but also to help give us a little bit of separation from the metal. Whether it's hot or cold outside, it will be nice to have that little bit of insulation there.It can be detached so that it'll be easier for storage, and to prevent any sort of theft.
You also have the locking pin. We can insert, it's going to keep our turnbuckle in place, but it can also be removed so that we can quickly remove or attach our turnbuckle.This threaded arm here it's going to be about, right about 11" long. Might be a little bit closer to 10-7/8, but I tend to be kind of picky on that sort of thing. The turnbuckle altogether, your max operating length, once you have a few of those threads in there, so your max operating length would probably be right about 25". It'd get very boring for me to thread this all in here, but your minimum operating length is going to be about 21-1/8".This is the same quality steel construction as the original.
It's got the reinforced 1/2" solid steel rounded hook, and the same 4000 lb weight capacity as the original. It is made here in the USA by HappiJac, so you know it's going to work well with your current system.That's going to complete our look at the HappiJac Replacement Spring-Loaded Turnbuckle.

They were easy to install and are working exactly as they should. Nothing fancy but a good product that works. I would buy these again, I will try to upload pictures later.

etrailer is great. Every time I talk to them, they are patient, courteous and knowledgeable. My turnbuckle arrived promptly, but was missing a part. I called etrailer. They did not send me to HappiJac. They said they would take care of it. They called HappiJac and had them sent the missing part right away. Great service.
Had to add chain and shackles to bottom to make it long enough to work on my truck camper
