Note: Do not run your generator while the tray is inside your cargo compartment.
Need a way to easily top off your generator with gas during your next off-the-grid camping trip? This tray slides out of your RV for quick access to your generator so you don't have to crawl into your cluttered or cramped cargo compartment. When you need to add gas, pull the knob up and slide the tray all the way out. When you're finished, push the tray all the way back in until it's stowed away. The safety latch locks the tray in place, so it won't slide out while you're traveling to the next campsite. And to make sure your generator doesn't get banged up while you're traveling down the road, tighten the 2 included adjustable straps over it and secure them to the integrated slots on the tray.
This preassembled tray installs inside the storage compartment of your RV or motorhome. Making sure there's adequate clearance of the compartment door, bolt the tray down onto the compartment floor using the pre-drilled holes. Mounting hardware is not included.

What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be checking out the MORryde sliding tray. Now you can use this on generators. We have it set up on batteries today, locks into place. You don't have to worry about going anywhere when you're going down the road just pulling the latch, slide it back out. It's gonna make it really easy for us to work or replace these batteries.
Now we don't have to climb into the compartment and hit our head on anything. Let's check it out. Now there's gonna be five different sizes of these sliding trays out there so make sure you measure the compartment. Think about what you're gonna put in it and where you want to put it to get the right one. We have these smaller versions today, the 15 by 16 and we're using two batteries in here.
Like I said, easier to access and pullout here and work on it than try and reach in there and mess with anything. So some of the other ones are gonna be different shapes so there's more square or rectangles. When you wanna do it with a generator you're gonna need more space to put that generator in place to do the same thing, slide it out and work on it easier out of the compartment than in. It's gonna be really easy to use and operate. You have the latch here.
You got the ball that you can hold onto to lift this up. This is gonna lift the striker outta the way. And then you have this handle on either side to grab and pull the tray out. Now it does fully extend a hundred percent. We're held back by wires on the batteries right now but that gets it out of the compartment quite a bit.
I'd like to point out the holes here and the tray. It comes with these straps as well. So you can also strap down whatever you're setting in the tray. Again, just another thing to keep the batteries in place so they won't be moving around while you're driving down the road. Depending on which tray you get the weight capacity's gonna be a little bit different. The biggest version is gonna be 25 by 26. That's gonna be rated for 300 pounds. Now all the other ones like the one we have here is rated for 250 pounds. So just keep that in mind with what you wanna load up on the tray. Now this one's already installed, but I wanted to go over the processes a little bit so you have an idea of what you're getting into. So it's all gonna come assembled so you don't have to worry about putting anything together. And what you're gonna do is attach this frame to the bars of where you want to put it. So there's gonna be pre-drilled holes in here. So when you set it up on the frame make sure it lines up where you want it and you have to get your hardware separately. It does not come with hardware but then you can run some bolts in to hold it in place. So you can see the bolts on the inside here of this lip. They also welded this one in place so it's really not going anywhere. Overall, I think it makes it way easier to either access the batteries or the generator you have in here plus servicing the generator with you're changing out the oil. You don't have to try and lift it up and out of the compartment, set it on the ground worry about it. You can just slide it out and start to work on it that way. It's heavy duty. It doesn't feel like it's gonna have any issues. I like how easy it's to slide in or out and that latch feels real good too. I don't have to worry about this starting to slide out or anything if I take a weird turn. Well, I think that about does it. Thanks for hanging out and hope this helped.

Straps stop the generator from sliding around while traveling to the campsite. We’re so pleased with how well this is made. We were replacing the original battery tray (Lippert) in our motorhome and were worried that ordering a different brand would be a problem. This tray is made of much thicker metal and is extremely well built. Not only was it less expensive than the other brand, the mounting holes matched exactly with the ones where the old tray was removed. Thank you for a great and affordable replacement.
My old battery tray was a rusted mess that required me to sit on my butt to push it in with my legs. This replacement is a dream! I was able to install it myself in a short amount of time. I've never installed anything like this, but it was easy. My old bolts were rusted (and some broke removing them) so I had to visit Lowes and get help picking out new hardware. That took longer than installing the drawer! I did make a little template out of a large paper bag so I'd know where I wanted the drawer and where to drill my holes--since my two hands weren't enough to hold it in place while pulling out the slide and also mark my spots. If you have someone to help with that part, use them. The drawer slides so smoothly, and it securely holds my batteries with the included straps. I did stuff a small piece of wood between the batteries and each side to ensure the rivets others mentioned don't pierce my batteries, but I'm not sure they would anyway. Just being extra cautious since I had the wiggle room. Highly recommend the product and etrailer. It's my third or fourth purchase from the company, and their customer service is consistently excellent, shipping is lightning fast. (For perspective, I'm a 40-year-old, female, first-time owner of a 21-year-old RV with some handy skills but far from a pro.)
Ordered two drawers: neither would not open to a full extension. Had to pound on them for a while. Eventually, got them to fully extend. May want to check the drawers for full extension prior to shipping. Otherwise the product works fine.
The parts were sent on time and correct. Just missing one portion that was made correct. I would order again without any issue

Seems solid and we will know as we use it.
I purchased the Morryde generator tray for my Yamaha generator. The tray was easy to install in front compartment of 5th wheel rv. The tray easily handles the 150 lb generator and there's enough clearances to access all components of generator including changing oil.
I am unsure if I received a faulty product. I am using a 3500 Predator generator for my detailing setup, and the pull out does not stay pulled out unless the ground is slanted. I would of thought I locked in place. Also this set up does not bring the screws or proper hardware.
The tray is resistant and meets my expectations. The only thing that didn't work were the straps. They are too short to be able to secure the generator to the tray. Is it possible that you have others? I need them to be about five inches longer.
I use this tray as a battery tray for two Trojan 12 volt golf cart batteries for my RV. The batteries are 85 lbs each and the slide makes them accessable for maintenance. The previous owner, or some other jerk removed the original trays, and exact replacements are no longer available.
Initially, I placed an order online. Next day I got a phone call regarding my order, they needed to speak to me before the item can be shipped. Agent verified my information and mentioned that she needs to cancel my initial order and placed a new one. Two days later, I got an email that both of the orders are shipped out and charged me twice. Agent didn’t cancel my first order and now I have to deal with returning one of the item.
We actually purchased these for two fire engines to hold our ice chest that we have on the engines. They were a perfect fit in our side compartments that allows us to access the cooler via the pull-out trays without having to take the coolers office the engines. The pull outs also make it much easier draining and refilling with water and sports drinks for the firefighters.
The Slide Out Tray is perfect! It is very well made and works smoothly. It makes it so much easier to service my generator. I now can slide the generator out to run it instead of having to hook up an exhaust tube to vent the exhaust outside.
I will install tomorrow’s I need to work on mounting the tool box on top
I installed in the side trunk of my 5th wheel as a slide out for my generator. Works well and serves its purpose by allowing me easy access to the RV generator.
Great generator slider, easy to install and holds the weight of my 100lbs predator generator no problem
These slide outs are a terrific addition to my camper. etrailer has a good selection and good prices. Shipping was fast and communication was outstanding. Highly recommend!

Packaging didn’t survive the trip, but the item was fine. Fast shipping. Nice quality slide out tray, perfect for my application!
Very well-built product.
Extremely sturdy and rolls extra smooth.
Work perfectly for the installation of a 12 V / 110 V beverage cooler.
I added a piece of half-inch plywood to the top to extend the length for the cooler base.
Made the storage compartment 100% more usable!
Works great. Able
To carry predator generator in tray on fifth wheel
We are so happy that we received it sooner than initially expected. We did have 5o remove the wheels off our generator, but it's going to make using it so much easier. Thank you for taking the initiative to deliver it in a timely manner.
Overall this does what it should do. But one thing to be aware of is that the side sliding brackets are attached with rivets that project into the tray 3/8" on each side as well as with the front locking mechanism decreasing the tray's actual interior dimensions. My Dometic ref/cooler just fits but I may still drill out the rivets and replace them with machine bolts and nuts to gain more clearance.
