Back Up and Change Lanes With Confidence

Furrion Vision S + Camera System

Reversing into a tight campsite or navigating busy roads? No problem! The backup camera gives you a clear, top-down view while the built-in microphone lets you hear your spotter - no more yelling or frantic hand signals. It's also motion-activated, so it'll give you a clear view right from your monitor whether it's a late-night visitor, a curious critter, or an opportunistic thief. And you can record video with an SD card (not included) perfect for keeping an eye on things while out on a hike. The side cameras have built-in LED marker lights so you'll stay visible to others as you merge or change lanes, even in low-light conditions.

Reliable Wireless Signal in Any Setting

No more worrying about dropped signals, electrical interferences, or lagging video feeds! This wireless camera system delivers a stable, real-time view, even if you have a longer RV, motorhome, or box truck. It'll hold a steady connection for up to 100' as you're cruising down the highway and up to 492' once you've parked at the campsite.

Touchscreen Monitor Provides Clear, Crisp Views

Furrion Vision S + Camera System Controls

Switch between camera views with a quick tap of a finger and get a clear, real-time look at what's around your RV. The anti-glare 7" screen supports up to 3 cameras and even lets you watch all at once to help you keep an eye on traffic merging onto the highway. Need help backing into your campsite? Rear park assist marker lines guide you right into place.

Quick Installation Without Complicated Wiring

This setup comes with 2 monitor stands, a cigarette lighter charger, and a USB-C power cable. The side cameras swap right in for your existing marker lights, and the backup camera mounts at the back of your RV. The monitor sticks to your windshield or sits on a tabletop wherever works best for you! And if your RV is already prepped for the Vision S+ system, you'll have an even easier time getting it all set up with little to no drilling.

The camera system was as advertised. Easy installation with very little time and effort.

by:

The Furrion Vision S+ is an excellent camera system. Installation went smoothly and the system was paired correctly to operate upon initial power up.

by:

The rear lens is so wide that the following cars seem much farther away than they are. Also with that perspective it is definitely not helpful in backing. The switch to the side cameras is so slow that it is unhelpful in most lane changes. The screen is difficult to see on a bright day. But it does improve at dusk and works much better at night. The camera is basically good for letting you know if someone is behind you and not much else. The bright spots are the microphone from the rear and the speaker on the monitor. It is much easier to hear when someone is guiding you back. Also the night vision on the cameras seems a bit better than daylight use.

Install was on a 2023 GD Momentum 395MS. RV had old Furrion Vision S already installed (older version - low resolution). RV was prewired, so install was a breeze. Just undo bracket, remove old adapter cable and rear camera plugged straight in.

For side cameras, you have to run a dedicated 12VDC wire for power, or use the power already there for the clearance light. Customer chose clearance light, so you simply replace the clearance light and make sure to wire the camera hot and clearance hot to the existing wire in the RV. Only shortcoming is that the cameras only work when the clearance lights are on. I added a 7-pin connector that I wired into the pin box junction box. This lets you plug the 7-pin into the truck to power cameras while driving, then unplug from the truck and plug into the new 7-pin receptacle. It then powers the cameras/clearance lights AND stows the cable up off the ground. I added a illuminated switch and the user has the option to turn off the power to the lights/camera and still use the receptacle for storage. They thought I was a genius!

My reason for only 3 stars is that while the cameras seem to work well and the range is good to the wireless display, I think the wireless display is not well implemented. It lets you see one camera in full screen or all 4 cameras at one. However, you can't select just 2 or 3 to be displayed. You can't select the order to display them in, nor can you rename the cameras to what you want (in case you didn't install where they think they should go). I literally had to swap two cameras to get the names to match. The system works OK, but the user interface needed more work. Since Furrion = Lippert, there is no chance they will ever try to improve the product. It is what it is.

Really appreciate you taking the time to lay all that out, that’s some seriously thoughtful work on the install. That 7-way and switch setup is a really clever solution, I can see why they thought you were a genius. On the camera side, you’re spot on about how these systems are set up. The monitor is pretty limited by design, so you’re generally locked into either a single full-screen view or the fixed quad view, and unfortunately there isn’t a way to customize layouts, reorder cameras, or rename them. Swapping the cameras physically like you did is honestly the workaround we see most often when someone wants things to line up differently on the screen. The clearance light wiring limitation is also a common tradeoff. Your solution to give it constant power while driving is a really solid way around that, especially since it keeps everything clean and functional. Totally understand the frustration with the interface, but you definitely made the most of the system and improved it in a way a lot of people wouldn’t think of. Really helpful info for anyone looking at this setup.

Easy install. Replaced rear camera with existing wiring. The side cameras went in rather easy as well. Tip: removed inside panels in pass thru storage to access wiring. WHITE is the ground. GREEN is power. (2021 Imagine xls MLE) Monitor is incredibly clear - a visual upgrade!

Glad to hear it's working well for you, Kevan! And thanks for the tips as well! Definitely helpful. ^___^ What are you towing this with?

by:

I had a problem with the monitor. It didn't work but the customer service technician sent me a new one and I bought a second backup camera for my trailer and everything is working perfectly. Thank you to Andy. He was excellent getting me the right system for my motorcoach and trailer.

by:

An excellent product, the best RV camera I have ever seen. The only complaint is the installation and programming instructions could be better. It took several U tube videos to confirm the proper wiring and programming instructions. Ordering the camera from etrailer was a delight with a knowledgeable and plesent representative on the phone. This was my first order from etrailer and was a delightful experience.

by:

Hi Adam I haven't even opened the box yet. Camping comes out of storage April 26th!

by:

Well….cameras keep losing signal. Guess I need to spend more time with the system? Review might be premature, but early assessment is mixed.

How does it not work Randy? Need a little more information to help you get this working. Did you do the install, or have someone install it for you? Can you please respond directly to the email that you receive with pictures of the entire install so I can try to identify the issue? I appreciate your time!

by:

Easy, quick install on 27' FR Alpha Wolf. Screen resolution is excellent. Really helpful with backing up in neighborhood or at campsite. Also helpful while traveling in traffic to see all around.

  • Availability Of Replacement Camera For Furrion Vision S Camera System
Hello Ken, thanks for reaching out. Sadly, the Furrion Vision S camera system is being discontinued and replaced with the Vision S+. The camera for the Vision S+ is not backwards compatible with the Vision S system, so sadly if your camera is bad, the only option we can offer will be a new camera system like the Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Observation System w/ 3 Cameras # FR64AD. The Vision S was discontinued pretty recently, so it might be possible for you to find a replacement camera...

  • Does The Furrion Vision S+ Have A Motion Detector/Security Camera Feature?
Hello Herb, thanks for reaching out. The Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Observation System # FR64AD does have a motion detector on the rear camera. You can insert a micro SD memory card in the monitor which allows it to record footage at night. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the motion detector. So it will only come on at night if it detects movement. The instructions are a little vague but it sounds like they want you to wire the rear camera to the nearest 12 volt power source.

  • What Furrion Vision Camera System Can I Use on My Camper That's Prepped For Cameras
Hey, Brian. From your message, it sounds like you already have brackets for the Furrion side marker lights with the built-in camera. If you’re only needing the side marker lights themselves, Furrion does offer those separately as part # FCE48TASL. If you’re looking for the lights plus the backup camera and monitor, there’s a complete kit available, part # FCE48TASL-05, which includes a 5" monitor. Furrion also offers their newer Vision S+ system. This setup features a larger 7" monitor...

  • How to Power the Furrion Vision S+ Cameras to Work in Security Mode
Hey Liz. The cameras of the Furrion Vision S+ item # FR64AD will need to be wired directly to a constant 12v power source, like your Grand Design's batteries, to use them in the security mode. With the infrared lights on each camera will pull less than .35 amps of power. During the day or if you're not using the IR they'll pull .2 amps. • Can Furrion Vision S/S+ Pair With 2025 Dodge Ram 1500 Tungsten Factory Monitor
Hey Clarence! That would be great but none of the trailer camera systems are going to pair with vehicle monitors/screens. All of them will require a separate monitor. The Furrion is a really nice system so I do recommend it. Since the Vision S is getting phased out you will want the Vision S+. Parts aren't backwards compatible and you wouldn't want to run into an issue if somehow you broke a camera and couldn't find a replacement for the Vision S. • Can I Replace Furrion Vision S Cameras With Furrion Vision S+ Cameras in Fifth Wheel
Hi Scott, That’s a smart question to ask before you pull anything apart. Good news, the Vision S+ side cameras in the kit part # FR64AD are designed to use the same style marker light base and wiring as the original Vision S system. If your fifth wheel came factory-prepped for Furrion Vision S, the side marker bases and 12V power feed are the same style connection. Here’s the important part: Vision S and Vision S+ components are not cross-compatible. Even though the side marker bases...

Hi Piotr; the Voyager RV LCD Observation Monitor # VO34FR you were looking at is the correct replacement for your VOM-738CT. However, you will need a CRT 5-pin to LCD 4-pin adapter to connect them. Voyager offered this as their part number 31100041 but it is no longer available. I would try searching to see if anyone still has one, otherwise you will have to find a generic adapter cable for the monitor to be compatible.
