Does Rear View Safety Backup Camera System Come With Instructions to Route Wires in 2025 F-450

Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 08/05/2025

Question:

I have a 2025 Alliance Paradigm RV that is prewired for a back up camera. I have a 2025 F-450 Platinum Superduty that I would like to connect it to for towing. If I purchase this camera, do you have specific installation instructions in routing the wire into the cab?

Hi Michael; the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-7709900Q does not come with vehicle specific instructions. It will be up to you to figure out how to route the wires for the monitor. I would check YouTube or similar sites to see if any other F-450 owners have performed a similar installation and see how they ran the wires.

Alternatively, you could use a wireless system to avoid having to figure all of that out. If you decide to go that route I recommend the new Furrion Vision S+ # FR57AD. Even if you're pre-wired for another brand you can still install this without a lot of additional work. All you need to do is mount the shark fin from the Vision S+ on your trailer and cut off the other connector to hard wire it in. If you want even more coverage the # FR64AD comes with side marker cameras so you can see when you're changing lanes.

The Paradigm is really nice, did you just get it or have you been out there enjoying it all summer?

Hi Michael, did you decide to go with the wireless Furrion Vision S+ system for your RV, or did you find a way to route the wires for the Rear View Safety Backup Camera? I'm curious because your experience could really help others with similar setups.
