Recommended Camera System for a Pre-Wired Keystone Montana 5th Wheel Trailer

Updated 11/10/2025 | Published 11/04/2025

Question:

I purchased a 2025 Montana High Country 331RL, it is prep’d for a backup camera - do you know what model camera Montana preps for? Just want to ensure I get the correct plug and play system for my 5th wheel. Thank you

No, I am sorry Mick I do not and Keystone doesn't list that information on their website. Their specs only say prepped for a backup camera, which is frustrating. Congrats on the new 5th wheel trailer though!

If you have the trailer and could look at the prepped spot on the back above the label, it should say a brand if there's some custom fit system installed. If there's no brand label on it that just means it's prewired for power and you would want to install a system like the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision item # FOS43TASF you were looking at. The camera harness would just need to be spliced into the two wires. The included bracket is all you'll need to mount the camera.

Since your towing with a 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 you won't have any issues powering the camera/s. Trucks made after 2021 typically need the item # FR87PR.

Do you know if you have other spots on your Keystone pre-wired for cameras? We do have bigger systems like item # FR64AD that show you the view around your trailer.

You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.
