Does The Furrion Vision S+ Have A Motion Detector/Security Camera Feature?
Updated 10/23/2025 | Published 04/04/2025 >
Question:
Hi folks, Always appreciate your quick and helpful info. This system is described as being able to be used for security once parked. However, if installed per instructions as I understand it it seems you would have to leave the marker lights on bumper pull trailer to power cameras and have it work, which would not be a great solution when boondocking. Am I missing something??

Hello Herb, thanks for reaching out. The Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Observation System # FR64AD does have a motion detector on the rear camera. You can insert a micro SD memory card in the monitor which allows it to record footage at night. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the motion detector. So it will only come on at night if it detects movement. The instructions are a little vague but it sounds like they want you to wire the rear camera to the nearest 12 volt power source.

Hey Herb, how did things go with wiring the rear camera to a 12-volt power source for your Furrion Vision S+ system? Did that setup let the motion detector work without keeping your marker lights on? Your update could make it easier for others setting up the same system.
