How to Power a Furrion Camera System w/ a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500

Updated 09/29/2025 | Published 09/27/2025

Question:

I have this system with 4 cameras and no signal reaches in my truck maximum distance is 40 feet how can I get it to work..?? Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Observation System w/ 3 Cameras - 7inch Screen. Please feel free to call me any antenna or amplifier if it’s available, I will purchase it. It’s truly frustrating. I can see the video inside the camper, but when I plugged into my vehicle, it shows what’s available and sometimes I get the rear camera but none of the other cameras work. The fourth camera is one over the door so I can see who is coming up at the campsite.

Hey Lorenzo. Your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 has what's called Pulse Wave Modulation, which will not provide the wireless cameras with the correct power it needs to run when connected. This is a power saving feature in newer trucks.

To fix this problem you'll need the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter for Furrion RV Observation Camera item # FR87PR. It's going to plug into your Silverado's 7-way connector and supply the necessary power to run the Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Observation System item # FR64AD.

Another option is to install the 12V PWM Filter for RV Backup Camera Systems - Hardwire item # VGR64VR. You'll need to install it on the circuits the cameras are powered by.

What kind of trailer do you have?

I would’ve thought that would’ve been supplied when I purchased my camper had the cameras on there and we even tried it. It didn’t work and they really had no idea what to do. I’ve looked quite a bit online, but I will purchase it if that’s what it takes and try it out. Thank you for your response. I will let you know how it turns out.
