cools great in the Arizona desert. Temp currently outside our RV is 107 and inside is a plesant 81'
thanks for the prompt service.

by:

Ease of installation, Extremely quiet! Much better than the Dometic Penguin 2 it replaced.

by:

I am now running two of the Furrion chill cubes on my 40' Forest River Work and Play. Not the best insulated trailer I have ever owned, but the two units on 30 amp power kept my trailer at 72* on a nice hot, humid Florida summer day. Heat index was around 102*. Now it is only June, so I am sure the real test will be an August or September day.

by:

The Chill Cube 18000BTU non-ducted cools down the Motorhome great! An easy install.

by:

Installed in an enclosed trailer. Had to reinforce the ceiling to support AC, seems to work well on genarator or by using an extension cord. Doesn't cool trailer completely but didn't expect it to without insulation, however keeps it comfortable with 100 degree temps outside

by:

The salesman at ETrailer is great very nice helpful. The 18,000 BTU Furron cube is the quietest air conditioner I’ve ever heard and it is much colder air from it compared to the other two units I’d like to replace the other two with the Furron cube

by:

Naomi D was an absolute joy to work with, very pleasant and took the time to answer all my questions. As for the Furrion, so far so good..very impressed with packaging and the overall quality of this unit..absolutely a huge step up from Dometic! Will be back for another on for the Central unit that is failing now…don’t ever buy a Coleman lol.

by:

The AC is top notch. Huge difference over the 15k dometic pos I replaced. Only issue is there was no way to hook furnace wires to the system. I'll have to get a heat only thermostat and wire that up later. This ac throws snow for sure.

by:

Heat conquered. Installed the unit in about three hours by myself. Came with all the parts needed. Due to the specific requirements of the school bus roof, I added supports between the steel. We ran it over the weekend while camping! It ran fine on my 3000w Renology inverter over the road between sites. I really like the gear function to run the unit at 50 or 75% to save on some power use of the batteries.

by:

Scheduled installation for today. Caleb from Performance Trailer Service came to my home and did the removal and installation in about two hours. The Furrion was cool and quiet and probably much more energy efficient than the Coleman, which it replaced. I look forward to seeing what it will do when I put it to the test.
Thank you Tyler and eTrailer for getting this to me a month ahead of schedule!

by:

This is a great AC unit very quiet. Pictures and video do not do it justice. Low speed setting is so quite you barley notice the unit is on from a noise stand point, puts out a lot of cold air with very little noise.

The AC units have definitely come a long way! So glad it's working well for you. :)

My A/C unit came quicker than anyone else could provide and Amy kept me updated all along the way. When I had a question, she took my call personally and got me an answer immediately. The Chill Cube was an easy install and works better and quieter than I expected. I will definitely be upgrading my other A/C unit after seeing how well this one worked out

by:

Wow! So quiet, so cool, so trim! We can have a conversation without yelling while the ac is running full speed. Easy to install and minimal difficulty with final installation. The YouTube video was extremely helpful with the step by step process. E-trailer got the unit to us a month sooner than expected with excellent communication throughout the delivery process. I will continue to order what I need through e-trailers in the future.

I replaced two Coleman Mach 15s on my Solitude fifth wheel with these units. The Colemans were ducted but I opted to block off the duct openings in the 14x14 cutout and use the ductless Furrions for better efficiency. I was able to maintain furnace operation using the original Coleman thermostat and the Furrions are controlled by either a remote control or buttons on the ceiling unit. Noise-wise these things are very quiet when running on low speed. They are somewhat noisier on medium and high, but you’d need to run them on the Turbo fan setting to equal the noise level of the old Coleman units. The only thing that I’m not thrilled about is the remote controls. Both remotes are somewhat hit-or-miss on if the unit will recognize a command and I often need to press the button on the remote several times for it to be acknowledged. (I did install new fresh batteries but that didn't help). Hopefully they will release a wired thermostat module like is available on the ducted Chill Cube models.

by:

Installation was pretty easy to replace my Coleman Mach. I love how quiet the unit is, both inside and outside, and it uses much less power. My only criticism, based on experience from my RV tech will be servicing the unit and cleaning the evaporator coil, which will be a little more difficult.

by:

I just received the Furrion Chill Cube 18,000 BTU RV AC, well in-advance of when it was predicted to be shipped. So, I am ecstatic! Now, I'll be able to install it prior to our 1st camping trip of the year. Yay!

  • Can I Swap My Coleman Mach Q 15 to the Furrion Chill with an Adapter, or do I Need a New Set-up?
Hi Nathaniel, Great choice on switching to the Furrion Chill 18,000 BTU! You're going to love the performance and efficiency it brings. One of the biggest advantages of the switch is that Furrion has upgraded their refrigerant from R410A to the more eco-friendly R32 this year. R32 not only has a significantly lower global warming potential, but it's also more efficient at transferring heat, which means better cooling performance with less energy usage, a win-win for both your comfort...

  • Availability of Heat Strip or Heat Pump for Furrion Chill Cube RV AC
Hey Jon; I was actually just talking to Furrion about heat options for the Chill Cube yesterday (1/21/2025). At this time, the only way to have heat with this unit is through a furnace on a ducted setup. The Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Air Distribution Box, Thermostat # FR49TD (black) and # FR69TD (white) come with a wall mounted thermostat capable of running a furnace. However, adding a furnace is pricey and since you asked about a heat strip I'm guessing you don't have one already. You...

  • Can I Install a Ductless Furrion Chill Cube in a Ducted Setup?
You sure can, Evan. The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ductless item # FR27TD will fit inside the same 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" cutout that the ducted Furrion item # FR99TD fits. The systems are set up entirely different so you shouldn't be blowing air into the vents anyways but it wouldn't hurt to put some foam blocks in there. We also have the Ductless Furrion Chill Cube available in White item # FR59TD. Why are you wanting to switch to a ductless setup?

  • How Loud Is The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner
Hey Layne! The Furrion Chill Cube is rated at 60 decibels. To put that into perspective, that is about as loud as your typical conversation or a dishwasher. It is extremely quiet, to a point it is hard to believe. This feature, along with the incredibly efficient variable speed compressor, make the Chill Cube the best AC on the market right now in my opinion. What kind of setup do you have right now? You can choose from the following based on color, ducted/ductless, and if you have a...

  • What is the Noise Level of the 18K Btu Furrion Chill Cube Air Conditioner
Hey Ria, thanks for reaching out! The Furrion Chill Cube # FR59TD is rated for 60 decibels when it comes to how loud it is, which is quieter than the average air conditioner. Another advantage to this air conditioner is that it's rated for 18K Btu which is significantly higher than the standard of 13.5K and 15K Btu. So basically, you'll be getting a much more powerful AC unit that is also quieter than average - that's a win in my book!

OEM's order part number 2023010866. If you are looking to upgrade to the Furrion Chill 18,000 BTU, you won’t be disappointed. It’s quieter than other systems and more efficient, a win-win in my book! • Replacement Furrion AC for 2014 Keystone Montana 3750FL With Dometic AC
Hey Steve! You can definitely replace your old Dometic AC unit with the Furrion. However, you will need to replace the ADB as well. Everything has moved to the new R32 refrigerant which requires complete replacement. Plug and play isn't an option since these aren't backwards compatible with old R410A parts. • Availability of 15,000 Btu AC Replacement for Coleman Mach
Hi Brad; the Furrion Chill HE # FR32PV worked as a replacement before but we can no longer guarantee compatibility. We found that the majority of the time the plug would line up but the system wouldn't work. Even if it did work, you run the risk of burning up your air distribution box (ADB) and will need a replacement. A complete replacement would then be necessary since the Furrion R410A ADB has been discontinued with everything moving to R32 refrigerant. The same is true for other brands...
